Andria Young

Project Director at DYMON Storage

Andria Young has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Andria is currently employed as a Project Director at DYMON Storage since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager/Design Consultant at a+y Project Consulting from November 2019 to December 2021.

Before their role at a+y Project Consulting, Andria served as a Project Manager at Cresford for almost 18 years, starting in February 2001 and ending in August 2019.

Andria also held a position as a Client Project Manager at Peregrine Hunter Properties Ltd. from 2000 to 2001, where they reported to the Vice President of Construction and assisted the General Contractors' Site Superintendent.

Additionally, Andria worked as a Project Coordinator at Minto Yorkville Inc. in 1998 and 1999, where they closely collaborated with the Project Manager and Client Project Managers, ensuring changes made through the color selection process were incorporated into the construction schedule.

Furthermore, they served in administrative roles at Polygon in 1997 and 1998, including Administrative Assistant - Construction and later as a Customer Service Representative reporting to the Vice President of Operations.

Andria started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Wade Williams Young + Wright Architects in 1994 and worked there until 1996. Their responsibilities included preparing proposals, specifications, and meeting minutes, as well as organizing meetings and correspondence.

Andria Young has a diverse education history, with a focus on interior design and project management. In 2016-2017, they completed a Diploma Course in Interior Design at The Interior Design Institute. Prior to that, in 2006, they attended Ryerson University for a course in Project Management, with a specialization in Building Codes and Regulations. In 2005, they also took a course at Ryerson University focusing on Project Management, specifically in Procurement and Contract Management. Continuing their education in project management, Andria attended Ryerson University in 1998 for a course in Construction Technology. Additionally, they studied interior design at the British Columbia Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1997, focusing on Basic Interior Design and Drafting Levels I and II. Before pursuing their specialized education, Andria obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from The University of Western Ontario between 1991 and 1994. Andria completed their high school education at Branksome Hall from 1986 to 1991.
