Larry Torrey RN

Larry Torrey RN has over three decades of experience in the healthcare industry. Larry began their career in 1983 as an Emergency Medical Educator, where they served as the Chief Medical Instructor for the "Original" SEI in New Hampshire until 2015. Larry has been teaching and speaking nationally and internationally since then and is currently the owner of Downeast Medical Solutions, providing quality medical education to civilian and military clients.

In 2002, Larry joined Tufts Medical Center as an Emergency Dept R.N. and EMS Educator, a role they held until 2016. Larry then transitioned to Boston Medical Center, where they served as an Off-Shift Nurse Manager from 2016 until 2022. During their time at Boston Medical Center, Larry also worked as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine, starting in 2013.

In 2014, Larry took on the role of Clinical Educator at Teleflex, Inc., where they stayed until 2019. Larry then joined New England Vascular Access (NEVA) as the Chief Nursing Officer from 2020 to 2021.

Most recently, Larry has been working at AccessRN/Dynamic Access, starting in 2021 as the Regional Nurse Manager-East Coast, and currently serving as the Director of Operations - Northeast U.S. since 2022.
