Yaron Yanay

Yaron Yanay has extensive experience in data engineering and software development, currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Dynamic Yield by Mastercard since June 2021, where responsibilities include processing big data for machine learning models with tools such as Apache Airflow, Kubernetes, Apache Spark, and AWS Sagemaker. Previously, at Synamedia, Yaron developed a password sharing fraud analysis tool using AWS technologies, and at Cisco, contributed to the development of a common data lake platform and improved Spark code performance by 80%. Earlier roles included managing Set-Top-Box bootloader integration at NDS Limited and serving as a Software & System Engineer in the Israel Defense Forces. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
