James Rotella

Engineer at Dynamics

James Rotella has worked in various roles since 2012. James started as a Research Assistant at Penn State University in 2012, then moved on to become a Crew Trainer at McDonald's Corporation in the same year. In 2013, they began working as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, where they built microfluidic traps from PDMS, performed time-lapse microscopy, and analyzed fluorescent trajectories of E. coli in a microfluidic PDMS trap. In 2015, they joined Dynamics Inc. as an Engineer, where they were responsible for daily operations reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and their team. As a Data Analyst, they identified and implemented improvements in data collection and data processing.

James Rotella obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Health/Medical Physics from Penn State University between 2009 and 2013. James then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh between 2013 and 2015.
