Cynthia Holley

Cynthia Holley has a diverse work experience with notable roles in various companies and organizations. Cynthia recently joined Dynavax Technologies in 2022 as the Director of Process Development and Manufacturing Sciences. Prior to that, they worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions from 2019 to 2022, starting as a Manager and progressing to Senior Manager and Associate Director roles. From 2015 to 2019, they held various positions at NOVAVAX INC, including Scientist II for Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, Downstream Process Development, and Tech Transfer. Earlier in their career, they worked at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies as a Senior Scientist and Scientist II, focusing on downstream development projects. Cynthia also had research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at NIEHS, studying gene regulation, and as a Biologist in a structural biology lab while completing their undergraduate degree.

Cynthia Holley attended North Carolina State University from 1998 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Cynthia then pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from 2002 to 2008.
