Leonardo Rivera

Leonardo Rivera is an accomplished professional in the field of explosives and manufacturing technology, currently serving as a Senior Researcher at Dyno Nobel since June 2007. In this role, responsibilities include supporting Initiation Systems products by applying knowledge of explosive theory, chemistry, processing, and safety aspects, along with expertise in electric and electronic principles pertaining to detonator design. Previously, from December 2006 to June 2007, Leonardo worked at Orica Mining Services as a Quality Assurance Leader and Technical Specialist for Latin America, focusing on fuse head and extrusion advising, delay composition specialization, new product validation, and customer complaint analysis. Earlier experience includes a role at Dyno Nobel from December 1999 to November 2006, dedicated to product development and improvement. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry obtained from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile between 1980 and 1987.
