Guy Brenchley

Guy Brenchley is an accomplished synthetic chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and contract research sectors. Currently serving as Head of Synthetic Chemistry at Hypha Discovery Ltd since December 2023, Guy Brenchley leads projects and is responsible for chemistry health and safety and the development of new synthetic methodologies. Previously, as Principal Scientist at CatSci Ltd from July 2017 to November 2023, Guy managed teams and projects, focusing on synthetic and process chemistry. Earlier roles include Senior Scientist at Charles River Laboratories, Senior Synthetic Chemist at Molplex, and Technical Leader at Almac Group, among others. Guy Brenchley holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bath, where research centered on asymmetric synthesis and phosphine ligands, along with a Bachelor of Science degree from the same institution.
