Yurii Kopytin

Senior Expert at e-Governance Academy

Yurii Kopytin is the Cybersecurity Component Leader of EU4DigitalUA at e-Governance Academy. Yurii was previously the Director of IT and Development Centre at the Estonian Ministry of the Interior (SMIT), where they oversaw a budget of over 10 000 000 € and directed the activities of 250 people. Yurii has also served as the Director General of the Estonian Citizenship and Migration Board and as the Deputy Secretary-General for European Integration at the Estonian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Yurii Kopytin has a Master's Degree in Economics and Management of Service Sector from Tallinn University of Technology. Yurii also has a High School degree from Tallinn Sports Boarding School.
