Safiya Ahmed, PhD, EIT is a highly experienced Engineer who currently works at E.L. Robinson Engineering. Prior to their current role, Safiya served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Ohio University, where Safiya taught undergraduate classes in Experimental Methods. With a background in Civil Engineering drawing, AutoCAD civil 3D, Descriptive Geometry, Dams Engineering Design, and more, Safiya has a wealth of knowledge in the field. Safiya also conducted research on the behavior of Semi-Integral abutment bridges and the impact of weir height on branching channel discharge during their time as a Graduate Research Assistant at various institutions. With a PhD in Structural Engineering and a Master's degree in Hydraulics, Safiya is a dedicated professional with a strong academic background.
