Maria Beatriz Fernandes has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. Maria Beatriz began their career in 2008 with an internship at Hoteis Heritage Lisboa, where they gained experience in operational management. In 2009, they joined SANA Hotels, where they worked as a Front Desk (Front-Office and Back-Office) Agent, as well as in Sales and e-Commerce. In 2012, they joined Tiara Hotels & Resorts as a Sales and Reservations Agent. In 2013, they joined Rhmais as a Ground Handling Traffic Technician and Groundforce as a Ground Handling Traffic Technician. Finally, in 2015, they joined both Connect Enterprises and e.near as an Office Manager, where they have been for the past 6+ years.

Maria Beatriz Fernandes has a diverse educational background, beginning with their attendance at Deutsche Schule Lissabon / Escola Alemã de Lisboa from 1990 to 2001, where they completed Kindergarten, Grundschule, and Hauptschule. Maria Beatriz then attended Escola Cidade Universitária and ESPAV from 2002 to 2005, where they earned their High School diploma. In 2005, they began their studies at Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa, earning a Bachelor's degree in Law School before leaving in 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they attended Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Lisboa and earned a Technological Specialization Course in Hospitality Management. In 2010, they began their Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management at Universidade Europeia, which they completed in 2013. During this time, they also attended Universidade Anhembi Morumbi from 2012 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management.
