Algis Marcinkevicius

Algis Marcinkevicius has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Algis'smost recent position is with E Tech Group, where they began as an Automation Engineer in March 2021 and later transitioned to the role of Lead Automation Engineer in April 2022. Prior to this, Algis worked at Novaspect Inc. as a Control Systems Engineer from June 2016 to March 2021. Algis also gained valuable experience as an EHS Intern at CHS in 2015, where they managed a facility-wide emergency notification system project and participated in regulatory audits. Additionally, Algis worked as an Assistant Researcher at the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center from September 2014 to June 2015, focusing on pharmaceutical degradation in groundwater systems. Algis started their career as a Project Technical Intern at Sage Environmental Consulting in May 2013, where they were involved in the permit application process and emissions calculations for new equipment.

Algis Marcinkevicius pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2012 to 2016. During this time, they also had a brief academic experience at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark in 2014, where they furthered their studies in Chemical Engineering.
