Alan Whitmore

Alan Whitmore is a distinguished professional in the field of medical science and clinical research, currently serving as the Chief Scientific Officer and Head of Discovery Biology at e-therapeutics PLC since December 2014. In addition to this role, Alan holds the position of Scientific Director at St Catherine Associates Ltd and has an extensive background as an Urgent Care General Practitioner at Vocare, Brisdoc from 2008 to 2022, and as CEO/CMO at Lumemed Ltd from 2008 to 2015. Previous experience includes roles such as Clinical Director at B&NES Doctors Urgent Care, Senior Out of Hours Clinical Lead at BrisDoc Health Care Services, and Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL School of Pharmacy.
