Shilpa Mahajan-Kulkarni has extensive work experience in quality, regulatory, research, and development roles across various companies.

Shilpa is currently working at e-volving brands as the Executive Vice President - Quality Regulatory R&D Innovation, where they have held additional roles of VP - Quality Regulatory R&D Supply Chain & Logistics and Director - Quality Regulatory R&D. Prior to e-volving brands, they worked at Nutracap Labs as the Executive Vice President - Quality Regulatory R&D Innovation and held roles of Director of Quality Regulatory R&D and Director of Quality.

Before that, Shilpa worked at Catalyst Nutraceuticals as the Head of Quality, where they initiated and developed the Quality and R&D departments. Shilpa successfully led audits and certification processes, achieving Organic and cGMP certification.

Shilpa also has experience at Samarpan Pharmaceuticals, SVM Enterprises Inc, where they served as an Advisory Board Member and was involved in business development, project management, client interaction, and overseeing various functions including sales, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, and laboratory operations.

In addition, they have held roles at Tata Global Beverages as a Senior QA Technologist and at Naturally Vitamins, Marlyn Nutraceuticals as a Lead QA Chemist. Shilpa also has experience as a Chemistry Coordinator at the University of Arizona, a Research and Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University, and a Graduate Summer Intern at Starbucks - Tazo Tea division.

Throughout their career, Shilpa has demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, product development, innovation, project management, sensory analysis, and audit processes. Shilpa has received awards for excellence and has a strong track record of achieving high certification scores.

Shilpa Mahajan-Kulkarni has a diverse education history. Shilpa first completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Mumbai from 1996 to 2001. Shilpa then pursued their Master of Science degree in Food Science & Nutrition, specializing in Product Development and Sensory Analysis, at Texas Woman's University from 2001 to 2002. Shilpa further expanded their knowledge in the field by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Food Science & Technology, focusing on Flavor Chemistry and Sensory Evaluation, at Oregon State University from 2002 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Shilpa has obtained various certifications related to their field. These certifications include Procurement & Sourcing and Strategic sourcing from Rutgers University, Food Safety Manager from 360training, Collaboration-Leadership essential series and Disney's approach to leadership excellence from Disney Institute, and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) from ASQ - World Headquarters. Shilpa has also received certifications from NSF International and FDA in topics such as 21 CFR 121 Food defense plans for dietary supplement industry, Foreign supplier verification program, FDA revised Supplement Facts Panel for Dietary Supplements, and more. Furthermore, they have pursued certifications in other areas such as Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Yoga instruction, and Healthcare IT.
