The Testing Coordinator is responsible for preparing and maintaining testing documents and logs and provides technical support to field personnel. The Testing Coordinator will primarily be responsible for test file creation, implementation, audit and review, and final test result submittal. Ability to work in both new build construction and operational environments. Able to prioritize work and work independently as well on a project team.

- Develops and enhances data center technical training. SOPs and work instructions to ensure compliance with customer quality plan and industry standards.
- Establish methods by which all field testing is reported and develop various means utilizing best practices to monitor the quality of testing activities.
- Collaborate with the project team to create and define methods to improve project efficiencies in order to maintain and increase project profitability that promotes a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assists in the coordination and review drawings, submissions, specifications, changes, and document control.
- Support the collection of data to facilitate project metrics.
- Ability to train employees and collaborate on a real time basis when testing is being performed.
- Provide pre-testing documents to aid in the technicians understanding of what is being tested and how to report completed tests.
- Create copper and fiber testing setups in LinkWare Live for FLUKE test equipment and CERTiFi for Viavi test equipment.
- Assists with Project Engineering deliverables as requested/needed.
- Travel: This position is generally expected to require overnight travel (up to 50%). The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2 Optics.

Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
Experience:
- 0-3 years work experience in the low voltage construction industry.
- 2-5 years experience in an administrative office setting.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Demonstrated professional demeanor and communications with customers, field team, vendors, and management.
- Ability to learn and understand structured cabling systems including horizontal cabling, backbones, cross and interconnects.
- Proficient with or ability to learn how to read, interpret, and understand complex design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office – expert in Excel. Additionally, will need to learn and become proficient with GC software’s such as Procore.
- Tactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors, and others.
- Strong organizational, record-keeping and follow-up skills.
