Roy Briones

Roy Briones has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Roy most recently held the position of Director - Digital Platforms at Automata starting from May 2022. Before that, they worked as a Product Lead at Eagle Genomics Ltd. from April 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Lead Product Manager at Springer Nature Group from November 2018 to March 2020. Roy also had experience as a Senior Product Manager at Macmillan Publishers, Alexandalexa.com, and VUBIQUITY. In addition, they worked as a Consultant at London City Incubator, and held various roles including Product Manager and Business Integration Manager at On Demand Group. Roy began their career as a Lead Business Systems Analyst at Simply Media and gained experience as a System Analyst at lastminute.com.

Roy Briones completed an Executive MBA with a focus on Product Strategy and Innovation from Bayes Business School between 2011 and 2013. In 2023, they attended London Business School for a program called Entrepreneurial Edge. Prior to that, they pursued Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Harvard Business School, completing their studies in 2021. In 2004 and 2005, Roy earned a Master's degree in Information Technology from American InterContinental University. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of the Philippines.
