Todd has been with ESa for more than 30 years, after graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1984. Although born in Illinois, Todd considers himself a local—he moved to Nashville from Illinois when he was eight. He has been involved in design development, coordination and production of contract documents, bidding and negotiation and contract administration of many major projects within the firm. Todd was heavily involved with the core and shell design of Gulch Crossing and the tenant build-out of ESa’s new headquarters. His personal design philosophy strives for greater meaning and purpose, and Todd is also a member of the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design Faculty Advisory Board.
In his role as office manager, he helps coordinate workload for all architectural staff members through regular project manager and project architect meetings. Todd enjoys helping to develop “team chemistry” through staffing. He also helps shape the future at ESa by actively mentoring younger architects in the “Emerging Professionals” group.
