Kris Poria

Kris Poria has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Currently, Kris serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of EarlyBirds, where they play a key role in engaging innovators, early adopters, and subject matter experts in actionable innovation. Additionally, Kris is a seed investor and co-founder of the company. In 2021, Kris joined Entrepreneur Media as a Contributor in the Entrepreneur Leadership team.

Prior to these roles, Kris worked as an Advisory Member at Invest in Australia / HHGroup from 2008 to 2021. Kris also held the position of Regional Engagement Manager - Australia & New Zealand at HERE Technologies from 2019 to 2020, where they helped customers harness the power of location for innovative solutions.

Before that, Kris was a Client Director (Public Sector - APAC) at Unisys from 2016 to 2019, where they assisted organizations in business and digital transformation, cloud transformations, cybersecurity solutions, and more. Kris also worked as an Account Director at Oracle from 2012 to 2016, and as a Client Executive at Fujitsu Australia Limited in 2012.

Earlier in their career, Kris held roles such as National Business Development Manager at Intech Solutions from 2011 to 2012, and Managing Director of Business Development and IT at HH Group and Invest in Australia from 2007 to 2011. Kris also served as the Business Development Director- Strategic Partner at LJHooker in 2007.

Kris Poria has an MBA degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Macquarie Business School. In addition to their degree, Kris has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2019, Kris obtained certifications in Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School, Unlocking Creativity from IDEO, and Design Thinking Experience from Echos - Innovation Lab. In 2018, Kris obtained a certification in Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership from LinkedIn. Kris also holds certifications in Enterprise Architecture from Gartner, obtained in 2011, and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer from Microsoft, obtained in 1998.
