Carlisle Henning

Carlisle Henning has a diverse work experience in various companies in the technology industry. Carlisle was the Head of Engineering at Earlytrade, the largest working capital marketplace in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to that, they worked as a Solution Architect and Senior Developer at CHU Underwriting Agencies Pty Ltd. Carlisle also served as a Technical Lead at Zurich Financial Services Australia, where they played a key role in delivering the Z.streamXpress platform and achieving the #1 position in Business Insurance on Sunrise Exchange. Carlisle worked as a Senior IT Consultant at CharterMason and as a Java Team Lead at Macquarie Group, where they contributed to the successful implementation of a disclosure management system and a content management system. Carlisle also has experience as a Java Lead at Zurich Financial Services Australia, enhancing a life insurance quoting application. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Java Team Lead at T-Systems and as a Java Developer at Fundamo, a Visa Company, where they were involved in a cooperative initiative between a bank and a mobile service provider.

Carlisle Henning attended Stellenbosch University from 1997 to 1999, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree. During this time, they focused on computer science and financial accounting. Afterward, they returned to Stellenbosch University in 2001 for an additional year and completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Honours degree, specializing in computer science. In 2017, Carlisle obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
