Phil Kranenburg has a diverse work history, with experience in a variety of industries and roles. Phil currently serves as the Senior Vice President of EarthGrid, a public benefit corporation focused on developing a network of underground tunnels for clean renewable energy, broadband connection, and various other services. Prior to that, they were the CEO of Cortex Composites, Inc. From 2002 to 2019, they worked at Kranenburg Certified Public Accountants as a Consulting Partner, where they provided financial, management, and corporate consulting services. Phil was also the Managing Director of Kranenburg Capital Management, LLC, responsible for overseeing corporate social responsibility and financial objectives. Phil then joined Beacon Pointe Wealth Advisors as a Senior Wealth Advisor, providing financial modeling and analysis to high net-worth clients. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Vice President of Marketing at Virtual Purchase Card, Director of Marketing at Xcert International Inc., and Director of Product Marketing at Gemplus International, Inc. Phil also founded and served as the CEO and CFO of Framdrive Corporation. Their career began at Shearson Lehman Hutton, Inc. as a Second VP & Financial Consultant.
Phil Kranenburg's education history includes attending Stanford University for multiple programs. In 2020-2021, they participated in a course titled "Product Management: Transforming Opportunities into Great Products." The following year, in 2019, they completed the "Leadership for Sustainability Program," which focused on Leadership and Design Thinking for Corporate Sustainability Challenges. Prior to these programs, Phil pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) at Stanford University, majoring in Human Biology with a concentration in Organizational Decision-Making. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of California in January 1988.
