Mollie Marsh-Heine

SVP, Development at Earthjustice

Mollie Marsh-Heine has spent the majority of her career in the environmental movement. From her earliest professional days, she worked as an outdoor educator with the Denver Public Schools, an Outward Bound instructor, and even a few seasons as a wildland firefighter. In 1999, she pursued a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and post-graduation, joined The Nature Conservancy where she worked as the Director of Operations for their Colorado Chapter. She took on progressively challenging leadership roles over her 15 years with the organization, including leading their fundraising efforts for the continent of Africa as their Director of Philanthropy, founding and launching their European private and corporate philanthropy program, and finally partnering with their CEO to work with a small portfolio of the organization’s most significant donors.

Mollie is delighted and enthusiastic about her work as a philanthropy executive and a passionate environmentalist — believing fervently in the power of the law to enact positive lasting and catalytic change in the race to save the planet. When not on the road meeting with staff and Earthjustice donors, Mollie works out of her home in the foothills of Boulder County, Colorado with her husband Seth, and whichever of their 5 children happen to be living at home during the moment as well as Bizzy the Schnauzer and Scout the Airedale terrier. Mollie enjoys fly fishing, live music, theater and art, mixology, great restaurants, and just about every outdoor sport that the Rocky Mountain west has to offer.
