Hari Vasu-Devan

Hari Vasu-Devan is an experienced educator currently serving as a Founding Teacher and Upper School Lead Math Teacher at East Bay Innovation Academy since July 2017. Prior experience includes roles as Managing Director of the Math Program at Leadership Public Schools, where Hari led the transition to the Common Core State Standards, and as Dean of Curriculum and Instruction for Math and Science at KIPP Public Schools Northern California. Earlier teaching positions at Chicago Public Schools involved teaching high school math and economics, where Hari received Teacher of the Year honors. Other roles prior to education included working as an Associate in Debt Capital Markets and tutoring low-income students in math and economics. Hari's educational background includes a Master of Education in Secondary Math Education from Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from New York University.
