Jessica Kauzer is a knowledgeable naturalist currently with the East Bay Regional Park District since July 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Nature Instructor at Sienna Ranch, where Jessica fostered connections between local youth and nature through hands-on learning and stewardship initiatives. Jessica worked as a Science Officer and Project Scientist at California Ocean Science Trust, focusing on marine science communication and management strategies for California's coastal resources. Additionally, experience at the Center for Ocean Solutions included GIS analysis and science communication product development. Earlier roles involve teaching GIS concepts at CSU Monterey Bay, curriculum design for the Avila Sea Life Center, and research assistance on marine antifouling studies. Jessica holds a Master of Science in Applied Marine and Watershed Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a marine concentration.
