Cal Christian

Cal Christian is a seasoned academic and professional in the field of accounting, currently serving as the Chair of the Accounting Department and a Professor at East Carolina University since August 2000. In addition to teaching, research, and service, Cal holds the position of NCAA Faculty Athletic Representative, ensuring the well-being of student-athletes and maintaining academic integrity within the athletics program. Cal's experience includes roles as a Chief Financial Officer at Holcomb Dunbar and Accounting Manager at LDDS Worldcomm, along with significant contributions to the North Carolina Association of CPAs as a speaker focusing on Professional Ethics. Educational credentials include a PhD in Accounting from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi.
