Mika Kekki

Mika Kekki currently serves as Executive Vice President of UPM Communications Paper (intermediate) and Executive Vice President of UPM Plywood (permanent) since August 2024 and is a member of the Board at East Office of Finnish Industries Oy as of April 2024, representing UPM Corporation. Previously, Mika held the position of Executive Vice President at UPM Plywood since October 2021, having transitioned from Vice President of Production & Operations at UPM Plywood Oy, where responsibilities included overseeing plywood and veneer production across eight mills. Mika's extensive career at UPM began in 1997 and includes roles such as Director of Operations & Spruce Production, Head of Production in the Distribution Business Unit, and Mill Manager at Pellos Plywood Mills. Educationally, Mika has completed an Executive Leadership program, a Strategic Thinking Program at IMD Lausanne, and holds a B.Sc. in Wood Working Technology from Polytechnic in Lahti.
