Jose Abreu

Jose Abreu has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Jose started their career at the U.S. Department of State, where they worked as a Supply & Receiving Clerk, responsible for merchandise tracking and management, as well as providing support to the General Services Office.

Jose then transitioned to AIESEC Guatemala, where they held multiple roles. As the External Relations Manager, they focused on partnership building, national positioning strategy, and financial tracking. Later, as the Country Manager, they led a national chapter of over 100 members, overseeing organizational structure development and partnership building.

Afterward, Jose worked at BIZNET/CELUMANIX as a VAS Regional Manager. In this role, they managed the WAP Sales Channel, conducted sales analysis, and developed new products and business. Jose also handled key account management and executed BTL delivery.

Their next position was at Abbott, where they served as a Product Manager for the Division Recalcine. During this time, they managed product portfolios and contributed to the company's success in the market.

Jose then joined Oriflame as a Regional Category Manager for Latin America, responsible for category management activities within the region.

Following that, they worked at Natura as a Relationship Marketing Specialist, utilizing their skills to enhance customer relationships and drive marketing initiatives.

Jose also spent time at Google, where they held the roles of Fulfillment Associate and Fulfillment Lead for Google Express. Jose was involved in operations support, data analysis, process enhancement, and KPI tracking.

Currently, Jose Abreu works at Eastern Bank, initially serving as a Service & Sales Associate in Retail Banking. Jose focused on building personal and small business banking relationships while developing portfolios for Home Equity Line of Credit and Express Business Loans. Jose then held roles as an Assistant Branch Manager and later as an Officer-Branch Manager. Currently, they are an AVP-Relationship Manager at Equity Alliance for Business, where they emphasize relationship building, small business coaching, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Jose Abreu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Universidad Dominico Americano, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. Jose then pursued a Diploma in Alumni Relations Management and Donation Culture at Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo in 2009. Later, in 2014 to 2015, they attended Universidad de Chile and completed a Diploma in Innovation Management.
