Laurie Rizzo

Laurie Rizzo has extensive experience in the banking industry, starting with their role as an AVP/Portfolio Manager at Citizens Financial Group, Inc., where they managed a $130 million portfolio of commercial loans. Laurie analyzed and evaluated credit requests, served as the primary contact for clients, and addressed service matters. Laurie then moved on to Century Bank, where they continued to work as an AVP/Portfolio Manager, managing a $160 million commercial loan portfolio. Their responsibilities included credit analysis, collateral analysis, and loan administration.

Following that, Laurie joined NorthEast Community Bank as an AVP/Portfolio Manager, where they managed a $18 million small business portfolio. Laurie reviewed and processed credit requests, conducted appraisals and environmental reviews, and ensured compliance with approved terms and conditions.

Laurie then transitioned to Salem Five Bank, where they held multiple roles. As a Vice President - Senior Underwriter, they underwrote various loans and loan commitments and had joint approval authority for Community Business Banking loans. Laurie also had knowledge of SBA loan programs and underwrote SBA 504 and 7a loans. In their subsequent role as a Vice President - Credit Administration Officer, Laurie created procedures for ordering commercial appraisals and environmental reports and reviewed completed appraisal reports.

Most recently, Laurie worked as a Vice President - Credit Underwriter at Newtek Business Services Corp., where they conducted credit analysis on SBA 7a loans and reviewed incoming loan packages for creditworthiness and compliance.

Currently, Laurie is a Vice President - Business Banking Portfolio Manager at Eastern Bank, where they manage a $220 million portfolio of business banking loans. Their responsibilities include underwriting, administration, and structuring of loans, tracking financial reporting and covenants, and developing risk mitigation strategies.

Laurie Rizzo has completed the Credit Analyst Training Program at RBS Citizens, N.A. and obtained an Associate of Science degree from Marian Court College.
