Mike Burgess

Mike Burgess has a strong background in network engineering and infrastructure. Mike began their career at Fidelity Investments in 1983, where they served as Manager of Boston Network Operations. In this role, they managed staff, contractors, and vendors, and designed and installed communication centers. From 1993 to 1995, Mike worked at State Street Bank & Trust as a System Officer, responsible for data network analysis and implementation. Mike then moved on to Comcast Corp., where they served as a Senior Network Engineer from 1995 to 2003. In this role, they designed and administered AT&T's Broadband Enterprise WAN, provided technical support and mentoring, and deployed network management tools. From 2004 to 2005, Mike worked as a contractor for TeckSystems, assisting with router set up and configuration. Mike then joined HP as a Network Infrastructure Engineer, where they have been since 2005. At HP, Mike has been involved in designing, testing, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure systems, and has contributed to various implementation, upgrade, and conversion projects. Most recently, Mike joined Eastern Bank in 2021 as a Network Engineer.
