Joca Giselle Marquez

Joca Giselle Marquez is an experienced educator and research scientist, currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty at Eastern Florida State College and an Educator at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Joca's professional history includes roles as a Research Scientist at NASA, Program Evaluator for the National Science Foundation, and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Howard University, focusing on qualitative research and its implications for African-American students in STEM. Additionally, Joca has contributed to public service as a City Councilwoman in San Marcos and held positions at the U.S. Department of Education and the University of Texas at Austin, emphasizing research design and analysis in educational contexts. Joca holds a PhD in Education and an MS in Chemistry from Texas State University.
