Janelle Bitikofer

Janelle Bitikofer is an experienced executive and clinician currently serving as the Executive Director of We Rise International, where responsibilities include leadership, program and staff management, and training in health and mental health. Concurrently, Janelle holds the position of Lead Global Grants Coordinator for the Mennonite Central Committee, facilitating grants for programs globally, and serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Global Health nursing program at Eastern Mennonite University. As a licensed clinical social worker, Janelle owns Empower Counseling and previously directed clinical programs for Health Horizons International. Janelle's extensive career includes freelance writing and various social work roles focused on mental health, substance abuse, foster care, and education for non-native English speakers. Janelle holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Eastern Mennonite University.
