Julia Halterman

Julia Halterman, PhD, is the Founder and CEO of SalivIQ Diagnostics, Inc., specializing in innovative disease detection through saliva collection since March 2024. With extensive academic experience, Julia serves as a Senior Lecturer of Biology and Director of the MS in Biomedicine Program at Eastern Mennonite University, where tenure began in August 2012. Prior to this role, Julia contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Piedmont Virginia Community College and held positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Virginia from 2006 to 2012. Julia's educational background includes a PhD in Pharmacology and an MS in Biological and Physical Sciences from the University of Virginia, as well as a BS in Biology with a minor in Business from Texas A&M University.
