Steve Cessna is a Professor at Eastern Mennonite University since August 2000, where responsibilities include teaching, advising, community service, and meeting scholarship expectations. From 2013 to June 2018, Steve served as an Associate Editor for Natural Sciences Education, handling manuscript reviews, recruiting reviewers, and making editorial decisions. Earlier, Steve worked as a Teacher for the Mennonite Central Committee from 1992 to 1995, instructing grades 7-9 in mathematics, science, and English literature. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Purdue University (1996-2000) and a BA in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder (1987-1991).
