Dr. Paul Roumeliotis MD, MPH, CCPE has extensive experience in the fields of public health and medicine. DR.PAUL is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa, where they are affiliated with the School of Epidemiology & Public Health.

In 2007, Dr. Roumeliotis assumed the role of Medical Officer of Health and CEO at the Eastern Ontario Health Unit, a position they still hold. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Continuing Medical Education in the Department of Pediatrics at McGill University, where they also held the title of Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics. DR.PAUL was also the Founder and Director of the Asthma Centre and the Pediatric Consultation Centre at the Montreal Children's Hospital during their time at McGill University.

Dr. Roumeliotis has held various leadership roles in different organizations. DR.PAUL served as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Families Canada and as a Member of the Board of Directors at United Way East Ontario - Centraide de l'Est de l'Ontario. Additionally, they were the President of the Association of Local Public Health Agencies (alPHa) from 2011 to 2013, and currently serves as the President of the Association of Local Public Health Agencies.

Furthermore, Dr. Roumeliotis has been actively involved in contributing to the field of public health. DR.PAUL was the Chair of the Council of Ontario Medical Officers of Health (COMOH) and the Vice Chair of COMOH. DR.PAUL also represented Ontario Medical Officers of Health when interfacing with government and other stakeholders.

In addition to their work in public health, Dr. Roumeliotis has entrepreneurial experience as the President/Owner of Autograph Communications Inc., a company that started as a record company and later expanded into different areas.

Dr. Paul Roumeliotis MD, MPH, CCPE has a diverse background in medicine, public health leadership, academia, and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Paul Roumeliotis MD, MPH, CCPE has an extensive education history in medicine, public health, and business administration. DR.PAUL completed their Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in Health Sciences at Vanier College from 1974 to 1976. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) with First Class Honours in Microbiology/Immunology from McGill University, graduating in 1979. Dr. Roumeliotis continued their education at McGill University and obtained their MD.CM degree in Medicine in 1983. DR.PAUL then completed their Pediatric Residency from 1983 to 1987 at McGill University.

In 2007, Dr. Roumeliotis attended The Johns Hopkins University, where they earned a Master's in Public Health (MPH) degree until 2009. To further enhance their knowledge in business administration and management, they attended Harvard Business School in 2013, obtaining an Advanced Management Certificate in Business Administration and Management, General (Leadership).

In addition to their education, Dr. Roumeliotis holds certifications in their field. In 2018, they achieved the Canadian Certified Physician Executive (CCPE) designation from the Canadian Society of Physician Leaders. DR.PAUL is also a Certified Fellow in Pediatrics from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
