Vinita Shinde

Vinita Shinde, Ph.D., is an Advanced Polymer Scientist II at Eastman since June 2022, having previously held the position of Polymer Scientist. Prior to this role, Vinita completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Auburn University, where the dissertation focused on significant advancements in the field. Experience includes a tenure as Senior Officer in Research and Development at APAR Industries Limited, specializing in the formulation of high-performance specialty oils and lubricants, as well as customer complaint resolution. Vinita also gained practical experience as a trainee at Croda, working on surfactant analysis for agrochemical applications. Educational qualifications encompass a Bachelor of Technology in Oils, Oleochemicals and Surfactant Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University.
