Marija Antanaviciute, PhD, is a Policy & Foresight Fellow at the Nuffield Council on Bioethics, contributing to an ethical framework for horizon scanning projects since October 2024. Simultaneously, Marija serves as a Research & Policy Fellow at the University of Birmingham under an international ESRC-funded project, investigating the organization of ethical advice in governments across the UK, Germany, and Australia. Marija is also a consultant with Eastside People, working to enhance the capacity of not-for-profit organizations. Previous roles include Research Consultant at HACT Housing, Business Development Officer at Shelter UK, Chairman of the Board for the Lithuanian Youth Association in the UK, Coordinator at the Global Health Initiative at LSE, and Country Specialist for The Global Leadership Project at the University of Texas. Marija holds a PhD in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London and has obtained advanced degrees from prestigious institutions such as LSE and the University of St Andrews.
