Umar Marzuki

Umar Marzuki has work experience in various roles within the finance industry. Umar started as a Credit Analyst at RAM Ratings Services in 2012, where they worked until 2014. Following that, they worked as a Performance Analyst at Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) from 2014 to 2015. Umar then joined Bank Negara Malaysia as a Portfolio Manager from 2015 to 2017. After that, they worked as a Portfolio Manager at i-VCAP Management from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Umar is working as a Fund Manager at Eastspring Investments starting from June 2019.

Umar Marzuki obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Islamic Economics at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, from 2011 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Umar Marzuki also obtained certifications. Umar obtained the CMSRL certification from Securities Commission Malaysia in May 2017, and the Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate from the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers in October 2016.
