William Wang

William Wang's work experience begins with their role as the Head of Information Technology at Eastspring Investments in 2018. In this position, they developed and executed IT strategies aligned with business objectives, managed a team of 20+ staff, and led cross-company teams to manage various applications and systems.

Prior to this, from 2015 to 2018, William worked as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager at Corning Incorporated (Asia region). Here, they led projects for process optimization, IT cost reduction, and ERP system upgrades. William also led cross-functional teams to develop and implement a pipeline inventory system.

Before that, William served as an IT Manager at DHL Express Taiwan from 2012 to 2015. In this role, they led a team to implement an electronic air waybill system and provided customized solutions to customers in various industries.

In 2011, William worked as a Manager at Hong-Tu International Inc. where they successfully deployed an inventory management system to eight different department stores. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they were a Manager at JYT Inc., responsible for setting up teams and developing projects using various technologies.

Beginning their career, from 2005 to 2009, William worked as an Assistant Manager at VIA Technologies, Inc., where they acted as a project manager for the SBC Deployment project. Lastly, from 2003 to 2005, they served as a Project Management Analyst at PJM Interconnection, where they customized MS Project and used Crystal Reports to create custom reports.

William Wang earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Science & Technology from Temple University, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. William further pursued their education at Drexel University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information System between 2003 and 2004. Additionally, William Wang has obtained certifications in ISO/IEC 27001 - Information Security Management System Auditor / Lead Auditor Training Course from CQI | The Chartered Quality Institute and International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA) in October 2022, and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2008.
