Harvey Libarnes has extensive work experience in the banking, telecommunications, and technology industries. Harvey currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer at East West Banking Corporation. Prior to this role, they served as the FVP, Digital Products Business Head at UnionBank of the Philippines from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they held various roles at Smart Communications, Inc., including VP of Financial Service Head and VP of Digital Products and Partnerships. Harvey also worked at Voyager Innovations Inc. and Smart e-Money Inc. as a Department Head and Vice President. Additionally, they have experience as the General Manager/CEO at Travel Book Philippines, Inc., General Manager at Hand.Interactive, Inc., and General Manager, Mobile Division at Summit Publishing Co., Inc. Their earlier career includes serving as the Head of Globe Labs at Globe Telecom, Inc. and as the AVP of Product Development and Management at ePLDT, Inc. Harvey Libarnes completed their Masters in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (AB) degree in Communication Arts from Ateneo de Manila University from 1991 to 1995.
