Lawrence L Lee has extensive experience in the banking and financial industry spanning over several decades. Lawrence L currently holds the position of Executive Vice President at East West Banking Corporation, a role they assumed in 2022.

Before Barclays, Lawrence had a previous stint at Citi from 2004 to 2009. During this period, they held various roles, including Regional Director - Credit Operations - Asia Pacific Consumer Bank and Credit Operations Director.

Lawrence's career began in 1996 at Standard Chartered Bank, where they held the position of Credit Risk Manager - Unsecured Credit Products, Consumer Banking Singapore. Prior to that, they worked at Citytrust Banking Corporation - Citibank Managed Affiliate as the Business Planning Officer, and at American Express as an Accounts Control Analyst.

Lawrence L Lee holds a Master of Arts degree in Business/Managerial Economics, which they obtained from the University of Asia and the Pacific in the years 1994-1996. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of the Philippines between 1988 and 1992. In 2021, they also acquired a certification in Sustainability Strategies from LinkedIn.
