Gurappa Chenchugari

Gurappa Chenchugari has extensive work experience as a Senior Android Developer. Gurappa began their career in 2006 as a Software Developer consultant at Mascon Global, where they worked on FOTA solutions and integrated Redbend's SyncML DM solution onto Moto BREW. Gurappa continued to work at Mascon Global until 2011, during which time they also contributed to feature development and bug fixing for various mobile app platforms.

From 2011 to 2014, Gurappa worked as an Android developer consultant at Tech Mahindra for Motorola. In this role, they focused on developing applications such as the Motorola Device Management system and the Motorola Network Assessment enterprise application. Gurappa also worked on BOTA, a software upgrade solution, and its accompanying test application.

Following their time at Tech Mahindra, Gurappa worked as an Android developer consultant at Sony Mobile Communications. Gurappa was involved in developing applications for Sony Android watches, particularly the Life Log wear application. Their responsibilities included requirements analysis, code design, implementation, and code review.

In 2015, Gurappa joined Globalmouth AB as a Senior Android Developer. There, they worked on various projects involving fused locations, geofences, geocoding, and social media integration. Gurappa also implemented custom fragment adapters and utilized Google Cloud Messaging and Firebase Cloud Messaging.

In 2017, Gurappa had two simultaneous roles, working as a Senior Android Developer at both DYNAMO Digital Ventures and Urb-it. At DYNAMO Digital Ventures, they focused on developing their website. At Urb-it, they contributed their expertise as a Senior Android Developer.

In 2018, they joined EasyPark Group as a Senior Android Developer, working on projects related to Android, AB tests, Android Automotive (Polestar, Volvo, and other car OEMs), and Android Auto.

Most recently, Gurappa joined Bitsbowl IT AB in 2020 as a Senior Android Developer.

Gurappa Chenchugari pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from PSC and KVSC Degree College between 1997 and 2000. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they earned their Master of Science (MSc) degree in the same field of study from Sri Venkateswara University.
