Emma Mellander

Chief Executive Officer at Eat Create Sleep

Emma Mellander began their work experience in 2012 as the Vice Chairman of Terebi Ge-mu, a TV gaming association in Malmö. From 2012 to 2013, they also served as a board member for Sverok - The Swedish Gaming Association. In 2011, Emma worked as an educational coordinator for the Swedish Games Industry - Association of Swedish Game Developers. Emma then became a producer for the Nordic Game Program from 2008 to 2014, organizing the annual Nordic Game conference and participating in international industry events. From 2007 to 2014, Emma held the position of board member for Svenska Datorspelsinstitutet, a non-profit organization supporting the digital game industry. In 2009, they joined The Game Assembly as a member of the steering group for their game production education program. Emma also owned and operated Mellander & Mellander from 2007 to 2016. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer at Eat Create Sleep, starting in December 2022.

Emma Mellander's education history shows that they attended several different institutions and pursued various fields of study. From 2018 to 2021, Emma Mellander studied "Trädgårdsingenjör inriktning odling" at SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, they attended KAOSPILOT and obtained a degree in Kaospilot. During their time at KAOSPILOT, they focused on Process- Project & Business Design, Leadership, Organizational Development, and Project Management. In 2000 and 2001, Emma attended Gotland University College, where they studied Communication & Media. Lastly, in 1997 and 1998, they studied Human Ecology at Lund University.
