Jason Kean

Jason Kean's work experience begins in 2017 as a Project Engineering Intern at Green Lagoon Technology, where they drafted engineering drawings and prepared plant documents for submission to the Department of Environment in Malaysia. In 2021, they became a FSTEP Graduate Trainee at Asian Banking School, and later that year, they joined GREAT EASTERN as a Management Associate - Investments. In this role, they applied VBA to streamline transactional data and ensure accurate fund accounting. Jason then joined Penjana Kapital Sdn. Bhd. in 2022 as a KapitalX Venture Fellow, where they participated in a Venture Capital Talent Development Programme. Currently, they are working at eatcosys as part of the Financial Services Division, liaising and coordinating with governmental agencies and venture capitalists in the SEA region.

Jason Kean graduated from Taylor's University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Chemical Engineering. In 2019, they participated in the Summer School Programme at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark, focusing on Biomass and Biofuel Technology. Additionally, Jason has obtained several certifications, including Corporate Finance Fundamentals from Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) in October 2022, Associate, Life Management Institute (ALMI) from LOMA in March 2022, Anti-Money Laundering & Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) from Asian Banking School (ABS) in July 2021, and Graduate Engineer from the Board of Engineers Malaysia in May 2021. Jason also holds certifications in Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Advanced Google Analytics, and Google Analytics Individual Qualification from various institutions like Google Digital Garage and Google Digital Academy (Skillshop), which were obtained in November 2020.
