Ashleigh Omorogbe

Case Manager at Eating Disorder Solutions

Ashleigh is a case manager at the Weatherford location. She was born in London, England, and moved between there, Jamaica, and Texas. Ashleigh completed her Bachelor’s degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology at Kingston University, England. She recently completed her Master’s degree in Counseling and Development at Texas Woman’s University and will be taking the National Counselor Exam to become a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate.

Ashleigh has eight years of professional experience working with adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses (SPMIs), substance abuse issues, and legal issues. While completing her Masters, Ashleigh interned at a private practice, where she provided individual and group counseling sessions to child and adult clients, along with couples counseling. During this internship, she worked with a variety of presenting problems, including depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ related issues, body image issues, disordered eating, self-harming behaviors, and relationship problems. In this time, Ashleigh’s interest in working with eating disorders grew, so she unhesitatingly took the opportunity to join Eating Disorder Solutions.

Due to personal and professional experiences with treatment, Ashleigh is intentional about meeting individuals where they currently are, with empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard. In turn, this safe space can empower them to take on their journey to recovery through healing. She believes that continuity of care is essential in this journey, so she assists clients at Eating Disorder Solutions with discharge planning and aftercare.

In her personal time, Ashleigh enjoys traveling, cycling, dancing, and watching her favorite TV series.
