Laurent Moulin

Laurent Moulin is the current Responsable Departement R&D at Eau de Paris, overseeing both the R&D Biology and R&D Chemistry/Process teams, comprising 14 members including 4 PhD students. In the role of Responsable R&D Biologie, Laurent manages a team focused on water microbiology, specifically on pathogenic bacteria, viruses, and amoebas, employing advanced techniques such as molecular biology and microscopy. Laurent participates in collaborative projects with various universities and is actively involved in scientific communication and professional organizations, including the Société Française de Microbiologie and AFNOR-T90. Previous positions include Responsable Departement Recherche Biologie at the Centre de Recherche d’Expertise et de Contrôle des Eaux de Paris and a product specialist at Innogenetics. Laurent holds multiple degrees, including a doctorate in molecular microbiology and an Habilitation to supervise research from Université Paris-Est Créteil.
