Godswill David has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Godswill began their career in 2015 as a Junior Software Developer for Universal Embeded Technologies, where they planned website development, converted mockups into usable web presence, and provided front-end website development using WordPress, HubSpot and other editing software. In 2016, they moved to Bluechip Intergrated Solutions as a Software Developer, where they designed and implemented scalable application programming interfaces using VueJs, C#, and Bootstrap CSS, adopted engineering best practices, and delivered the highest quality scalable solutions. In 2018, they worked for FirstBank Nigeria as a Software Engineer, where they delivered end-to-end support in building banking software applications, analyzed software reliability, and ensured key features met products benchmarks. Godswill also led the development of core banking applications using ASP. Net and integrated applications to CBA(Finnacle). In the same year, they joined AXA Mansard as a Software Engineer, where they spearheaded the development of a cross-platform e-banking mobile application using Xamarin, accelerated the team and completed project a week ahead of deadline, and collaborated with the product team to implement new features and strategically plan for future products. In 2020, they worked for FSDH Merchant Bank (FSDH) as a Software Engineer, where they developed efficient and maintainable software according to business objectives and needs of various clients, revised, modularized and updated old code bases to modern development standards, and singlehandedly designed and implemented backend APIs and micro services using C# and ASP. Godswill is currently working for eBanqo, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they lead the automation of AI conversational chatbots and creates bespoke webbooks while surpassing clients’ specifications, collaborates in a cross-functional team of 5 to deliver unit-tested systems with required characteristics and within customer-prescribed timeframes, and creates well-crafted mobile and web applications using C# and ASP.
Godswill David is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of the People, which they started in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn and Amazon Web Services (AWS), which include Emotional Intelligence for Project Managers (Blinkist Summary), Learning Kubernetes, Microservices: Design Patterns, Agile Foundations, Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World (Blinkist Summary), Overcoming Procrastination, Node.js for C# Developers, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
