Jane Gruning

Jane Gruning, PhD, is a seasoned professional in the field of user experience research, currently serving as a Senior User Experience Researcher at eBay since March 2022. Prior to this role, Jane held similar positions at Facebook from September 2019 to March 2022, and at ExxonMobil as a Senior UX Researcher from February 2018 to September 2019. Jane's career began with an internship at Microsoft in 2015, where work focused on the Digital Possessions project within the Human Experience and Design group. Academically, Jane earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Science/Studies from The University of Texas at Austin, after completing a Master of Science in Information Studies at the same institution, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Loyola University New Orleans.
