Steve Metz

Steve Metz is VP of Analytics & Insights at eBay, an eCommerce company based in San Jose, California. Steve rejoined eBay in 2019 to oversee analytics for the Product and Marketing organization. He previously held positions with eBay in Finance and Analytics from 2005 through 2016. From 2016 through 2019, he served as Finance Director for Amazon’s Performance Advertising business, overseeing advertising products including from Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Stores. In his 15 years working for these technology companies in eCommerce and digital advertising, the common thread across his roles has been continually finding ways to leverage data, metrics, and insights to drive improved decision-making and better outcomes for customers and businesses.
