John Lin has been the CEO of Greater China for [eBay](/org/ebay) since 2012. Under his leadership, the company built a cross-border e-commerce ecosystem and guided traditional merchants to subvert the existing supply chain and adopt overseas warehouses, automation, and interventional logistics to enhance industrial development, contributing to the transformation of cross-border export e-commerce. Instead of light and small pieces of processed goods, the exported goods are now large pieces with high value and high value added. In 2016, Lin started to promote the overseas branding of China's cross-border export e-commerce enterprises. The next year, [eBay](/org/ebay) launched a program to help Chinese merchants explore the international market along the Belt & Road routes. So far, at least 1,000 Chinese brands have been involved in the program.

This month, [eBay](/org/ebay) named Gail Frederick, VP of Developer Ecosystem as the General Manager of [eBay](/org/ebay)’s Portland office.

eBay’s Portland office is an [eBay](/org/ebay) Center of Excellence and an innovation hub specifically for our mobile development and [eBay](/org/ebay) for Charity teams.

“Portland has such a unique and vibrant culture—and I’m excited to continue to foster that here and spread it throughout the rest of the company,” Gail said. “I’m humbled to be leading this incredibly talented and passionate team of innovators in Portland.”

Since joining [eBay](/org/ebay) in 2014, Gail has continually aimed to disrupt commerce with fresh ideas to create a more powerful buying and selling experience on our global marketplace. Gail is also a fierce champion for women in technology and an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ rights.

As the VP of Developer Ecosystem, Gail leads the initiative to broaden the [eBay](/org/ebay) Developers Program, with a revamp to [eBay](/org/ebay)’s API platform, starting with ten new standards-based APIs in 2016 and additional buy and sell APIs in 2017.

Last year, Gail reintroduced [eBay](/org/ebay)’s Developer Conference, [eBay](/org/ebay) Connect, and expanded it globally across the US, Europe and Asia. These events showcase how [eBay](/org/ebay) is leveraging technology to make it easier for our developer ecosystem to create new [eBay](/org/ebay) experiences.

So far in her 20-year software career, she has worked in distributed systems, mobile, open source and Linux.

Gail currently resides in Portland with her wife and 8-year-old twins. She’s an avid knitter and homebrewer, outfitting both hobbies on [eBay](/org/ebay). Her family actually calls her “the queen of small packages” due to the volume of boxes she receives from her [eBay](/org/ebay) purchases.

Brent Bounds is the VP, Treasury & Collections at [eBay](/org/ebay). He joined [eBay](/org/ebay) in 2007 as Assistant Treasurer, Capital Markets, from [PayPal](/org/paypal), where he had been Assistant Treasurer. Before joining [PayPal](/org/paypal), Brent was Senior Manager, Treasury Operations at Microsoft. In addition to his duties at [eBay](/org/ebay), Brent serves as a Board Member with the Special Olympics Northern California & Nevada.

Chris Dell-Maggiore is Sr Director, Investor Relations at [eBay](/org/ebay). As CFO and Vice President for one of [eBay](/org/ebay)’s fastest growing business units, Alex is responsible for finance, operations, strategy and business development for the [eBay](/org/ebay) Classifieds Group.

Prior to his role as CFO for [eBay](/org/ebay) Classifieds Group, Alex held several finance roles within [eBay](/org/ebay). Most recently he was the Senior Director of EU Finance for Expansion & Adjacencies, providing financial support for Merchant Development expansion and the Advertising team. Alex also held full CFO responsibilities for [eBay](/org/ebay)’s off-platform businesses in Turkey and Sweden, in addition to providing finance support for M&A Integrations across [eBay](/org/ebay) EU Marketplaces. Before his role as a Senior Director, Alex was the EU Director of Finance, supporting the Marketing, Operations and Advertising teams in addition to Enterprise Sales, Tradera & the [eBay](/org/ebay) International expansion team. Prior to being a Finance Director for [eBay](/org/ebay) EU, Alex was the EU Controller for [eBay](/org/ebay), heading risk and compliance for the region.

Before joining [eBay](/org/ebay) in late 2007, Alex was the Group Controller for Skype, implementing SAP during that time, the company’s first in-house accounting system. He was also responsible for growing the accounting team from 6 to 16 people in order to service the rapidly growing company (revenue tripled 2005-2006).

In 2005 Alex took a break from Corporate work and spent 4 months in Costa Rica & Nicaragua as the Logistics Manager on a Raleigh International youth development charity expedition.

Alex began his career at accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand in London, where he qualified as an ACA in the audit department with a secondment to tax, followed by finance manager roles at [ExxonMobil](/org/exxonmobil) and Factiva (Dow Jones/Reuters) from 1996 - 2005.

Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the Imperial College of Science & Technology and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

As Senior Director of Global Communications, Jasper is responsible for [eBay](/org/ebay) Classifieds Group’s corporate communications, reputation management and employee communications. He’s a member of [eBay](/org/ebay)’s Global Leadership Team Communications, reporting into [eBay](/org/ebay)’s Chief Communications Officer.

Prior to this role, Jasper served as the Head of Public Relations and Public Affairs for eCG Benelux, consisting of classifieds platforms Marktplaats in the Netherlands and 2dehands.be in Belgium.

Before joining [eBay](/org/ebay) in 2010, Jasper worked in media, spending ten years at [RTL Group](/org/rtl-group) (part of Bertelsmann SE & Co.) as a spokesperson and corporate communications executive. He also worked as a Director of Public Relations for the National Football League in Europe and as Editor-in-chief for Fox Sports in the Netherlands, producing the broadcast of multiple Super Bowls and NFL-seasons.

Brent McLean is the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer for [eBay](/org/ebay) Classifieds Group globally. Brent’s responsibility is to oversee the product development from a technology perspective and ensure that our global and local technology strategy align with the business strategy and serve the needs of our customers in more than 20 countries.

Brent joined Classifieds in 2010 as CTO of Marktplaats.nl, then added Denmark to his responsibilities in 2011 before he became our global CTO in 2013. Under his leadership, Brent has been a driving force in creating a crisp global transformational strategy to create omnichannel experiences across desktop, mobile and tablet. Brent is also responsible for our global site operations and general technology infrastructure.

For the last 10 years, Brent has specialized in developing software for online/eCommerce businesses. He is a passionate proponent of agile development methods, which at its core are based around people and the value they bring.

Brent holds a B.E (Electrical Engineering) from University of Technology, Sydney. He and his family relocated from Australia to the Netherlands to take the role of CTO of Marktplaats and shortly after Northern Europe before he became CTO of eCG globally. Prior to joining [eBay](/org/ebay), Brent worked for Fairfax Media in Australia, with his last position being Director of Technology for online classifieds - in the three verticals of housing, jobs and automotive.

Brent McLean

Robin Leidenthal leads the Global Payment Partner team at [eBay](/org/ebay) responsible for developing and managing [eBay](/org/ebay) relationships with the card brands, other forms of payment, processors and sponsor banks. In addition, Robin represents [eBay](/org/ebay) through industry groups such as the Electronica Transaction Association and others. Prior to joining [eBay](/org/ebay), Robin led the Visa US Acquiring Sales team and the Acquirer Processor Sales team, expanding Visa payment solutions to traditional and emerging payment partners. Robin has held executive roles in payments at [Intuit](/org/intuit), [PayPal](/org/paypal) and [Wells Fargo](/org/wells-fargo). Robin deeply understands emerging acquiring models such Payment Facilitators and Marketplaces, as well as traditional SMB and large merchant card not present acceptance. Robin has extensive global expansion experience, having built and managed large international teams and establishing global partner relationships. Robin's diverse experience from large banks to early, disruptive fin tech start-ups such as [PayPal](/org/paypal) provide for a unique perspective to enabling new and traditional acceptance models.

He took on positions of increasing responsibility, culminating as CFO, PayPal Cross-Border Trade, before leaving in 2014 to become CFO of Quiri. He returned in 2015 as VP, Investor Relations, and was appointed to his current position in February 2019.

This week, we are welcoming Alyssa Cutright, [eBay](/org/ebay)’s new Vice President of Global Payments.   In this new role, she will lead [eBay](/org/ebay)’s global strategy and operations of billing and payments.

Payments are a critical part of the commerce ecosystem, and Alyssa has extensive industry experience, including 10 years spent at [PayPal](/org/paypal) (formerly an [eBay](/org/ebay) company) in a variety of critical roles, including leadership of the Financial Services (Core Payments), Risk Management, and North America Product teams.

Alyssa joins us from payments startup [Plastiq](/org/plastiq) where she was responsible for overall operations. Previously, she led international expansion for Square. Earlier in her career, Alyssa spent 10 years at Wells Fargo Bank. She is a graduate of U.C. Santa Barbara.

Cornelius Boone is the Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer at [eBay](/org/ebay).

Cornelius brings exceptional experience across all facets of human resource strategy and development on a global scale, most recently overseeing the People functions for [American Airlines](/org/american-airlines) Group, one of the world's largest airlines. While at American, Cornelius was also responsible for expanding and improving the DEI programs. 

Prior to joining [American Airlines](/org/american-airlines), Cornelius held various HR positions at [Walmart](/org/walmart) where he was most recently the Vice President of Field Hourly Talent Management which supported more than one million U.S. sales associates. During his time at [Walmart](/org/walmart), Cornelius also worked in the Bay Area leading and co-leading human resources for a number of the business segments at [Walmart](/org/walmart) ecommerce. Cornelius began his career in employment law at Littler Mendelson, the largest labor and employment law firm in the U.S. and he earned his Bachelors and JD from the University of Arkansas.

Jamie Iannone is the President and Chief Executive Officer of [eBay](/org/ebay), Inc. An innovative technology leader, Jamie has more than 20 years of experience in digital pure-play and omnichannel platforms for some of the world’s premier consumer-facing companies, including [eBay](/org/ebay) from 2001-2009.

Mr. Iannone most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of [Walmart](/org/walmart) eCommerce. His team focused on operational oversight of eCommerce as [Walmart](/org/walmart) moves to a truly omnichannel organization. He also had responsibility for Store No. 8, [Walmart](/org/walmart)'s incubation hub.

Mr. Iannone joined Sam's Club in 2014 and was CEO of SamsClub.com and Executive Vice President of membership and technology. In that role, Mr. Iannone grew both the SamsClub.com business and Sam's Club's membership base, which ended FY20 with record-high eCommerce growth and Plus renewal counts. His teams also released industry-leading technologies including Scan & Go, Ask Sam's, Sam's Club Now and Club Pickup.

Before joining [Walmart](/org/walmart) Inc., Mr. Iannone was Executive Vice President of Digital Products at Barnes & Noble, Inc., where he was responsible for all NOOK devices, software, accessories, retail integration and experiences, books and digital content, as well as third-party partnerships. He also spent nearly eight years at [eBay](/org/ebay) as a Vice President and in other roles leading several areas of the Company, including its global search, buyer experience and tailored shopping experience divisions. Before that, Mr. Iannone worked at Epinions.com and [Booz Allen Hamilton](/org/booz-allen-hamilton).

Mr. Iannone previously served on the Board of Directors of The Children's Place. He earned a Bachelor of Science in operations research, engineering and management systems from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Lakshimi Duraivenkatesh serves as the VP, Buyer Experience Engineering at [eBay](/org/ebay). She joined [eBay](/org/ebay) in 2005 as a Principal Software Engineer, and has taken on increasingly significant product and engineering leadership roles over the years. Prior to joining [eBay](/org/ebay), Lakshimi was a Senior Software Engineer at E2Open. She holds a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in Computer Science, both from Bharathidasan University.

Lakshimi Duraivenkatesh

As VP and General Manager, Classifieds Incubator Markets, Chris is responsible for emerging online classifieds markets across Asia-Pacific, the Americas, Africa and emerging online classifieds markets in Europe. Prior to this role, Chris led [eBay](/org/ebay)’s classifieds business in 6 countries in Asia-Pacific and the local classifieds business in 8 countries in Europe, with full P&L responsibility for the multimillion-dollar portfolios. Chris also directed all of the portfolio’s global mobile & technology operations.

Starting in 2007, Chris held the position of Chief Operating Officer for [eBay](/org/ebay)’s local classifieds business, based out of San Jose, CA, and covering product management, engineering, and monetization for 17 countries around the globe. His first role at [eBay](/org/ebay) was as the Head of Product at its Benelux Operations in 2004. There, he helped on the due diligence streams leading to acquisitions and build-outs that evolved into [eBay](/org/ebay)’s classifieds business unit.

Prior to [eBay](/org/ebay), Chris was a consultant for a number of years in web commerce strategy at Razorfish and set up and ran two startups focused on Outsourced Marketing & Logistics as well as Digital Medical Patient Files.

Chris holds Masters Degrees in International Law as well as Business Administration from the University of Leiden and the Nyenrode Business School – the two top universities in their fields in the Netherlands.

Previously, Eben Sermon was responsible for [eBay](/org/ebay)’s portfolio of businesses in Central and Southern Europe. This includes [eBay](/org/ebay)’s core businesses in Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

Eben has a long history with [eBay](/org/ebay) having joined the company in 2007. During this time, he has worked in management positions in a wide variety of areas including category management, cross-border trade, marketing and, in recent years, general management.

Jay Lee is responsible for leading [eBay](/org/ebay)’s core Marketplaces’ international business outside the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. He oversees a diverse portfolio of businesses: off-platform businesses in Korea, Japan and Turkey; our fourth largest on-platform business, in Australia; cross-border trade out of Greater China; and 180+ unsited markets in Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to taking on his current role, Jay oversaw [eBay](/org/ebay)’s core Marketplaces business across all regions. He was previously head of [eBay](/org/ebay)’s core Marketplaces business in EMEA, responsible for [eBay](/org/ebay)’s operations in major European markets -- UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain -- as well as driving growth in emerging markets such as Turkey.

He joined [eBay](/org/ebay) in 2002 and guided the growth of [eBay](/org/ebay)’s portfolio of assets in Asia Pacific. He built market-leading positions in Korea, via our Gmarket and Auction marketplaces, and in Australia via [eBay](/org/ebay).com.au. Prior to that Jay worked at Boston Consulting Group, a management consulting firm and leading global advisor on business strategy. He worked with the company for more than eight years, in both the United States and Asia, and became the company’s first Korean partner in 1998.

She is responsible for interactions with content regulators, law enforcement, IP, corporate governance and SEC compliance, contracts, and other legal and government relations matters.

Marie's passion for [eBay](/org/ebay)'s purpose of creating opportunity by empowering small and medium businesses is what compelled her to join the [eBay](/org/ebay) family as it enters its next chapter.

She has 25 years of strategic business and legal experience in global Fortune 500 companies. She has an extensive track record as a business leader and advising boards of directors and executive leadership on global strategy, M&A, corporate governance, legal and compliance, IP, and operational matters.

Marie joined [eBay](/org/ebay) in May 2015 from Agilent where she served as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary since 2009. She was responsible for communications, regulatory affairs and quality assurance, government affairs, and philanthropy at Agilent. For the previous ten years she also held positions of increasing responsibility at Agilent and prior to that at HP.

She has a B.A. in Economics cum laude from Yale, studied at the London School of Economics and received her J.D. from the Northwestern University School of Law. She serves on the boards of the James Campbell Company LLC and the [Silicon Valley Community Foundation](/org/silicon-valley-community-foundation).

Marie is a strong champion for diversity and inclusion, paying it forward, and giving back to the community. As Senior Vice President and General Manager, Alessandro is responsible for the world-leading classifieds portfolio available in ten different classifieds brands across the globe, including [eBay](/org/ebay) Kleinanzeigen and Mobile.de in Germany, Gumtree in the UK, Australia and South Africa, and Kijiji in Canada and Italy.  He is driving the Group’s vision to shape the future of local commerce by bringing people together through an enriched online experience that allows them reach out to the community around them. Overseeing a global team of more than 1,000 people who are passionate for local trade, Alessandro is focused on maintaining the customer-centric nature of the Group, while exploring growth opportunities in both the countries where [eBay](/org/ebay) Classifieds Group already has a presence and in prospective markets.

In his previous role as VP and General Manager of [eBay](/org/ebay) Classifieds Group, Northern Europe, Alessandro was responsible for Marktplaats, the largest Dutch ecommerce and horizontal classifieds site, and DBA and BilBasen, the top horizontal classifieds and autos sites in Denmark. Ms. Chennapragada has over 20 years of experience in the tech industry as a computer scientist and product leader. She most recently served as the Chief Product Officer at Robinhood, a financial services company. Prior to that, Ms. Chennapragada was a Vice President and General Manager at Google. During her tenure with Google, she created and led products that applied AI to reinvent Google Search for billions of users.

Tom Colwell serves as the Sr Director, Americas HR Shared Services at [eBay](/org/ebay). He joined [eBay](/org/ebay) in 2016 as the Director, HR Business Partner for Global Customer Experience from DWFritz Automation, where he had been an HR Consultant. Before that, he spent 10 years at Intel, most recently as a Leadership Development Portfolio Manager. Rebecca Dishotsky is the Sr Director, Head of Employee Communications at [eBay](/org/ebay). Anne Marie Bell is the VP, Global Employee Communications at [eBay](/org/ebay). She joined [eBay](/org/ebay) in 2012 from [Thomson Reuters](/org/thomson-reuters), where she had been Global Head of Internal Communications. Before this, she was Head of Internal Communications at BBC. She holds a Master's Degree in Public Relations from the [University of Stirling](/org/the-university-of-stirling). 

Anne Marie Bell

Vice President Angela Skubovius joined  [eBay](/org/ebay) as HR business partner for the North America business unit, and later went on to help form and support the [Global Growth](/org/global-growth-holdings) organization which was created to bring together all aspects of global channel marketing and customer data and insights. Angela worked with the leadership team to create the most effective organizational structure, drive alignment on goals and resources, hire new key talent, build leadership capabilities and create a communications strategy to foster employee engagement. 

Prior to joining [eBay](/org/ebay), Angela worked across fashion retail and wholesale banking.   In both industries, she was involved in major organizational transformations, which included focus on organizational design and development, training, change management, leadership development and recruitment.  Angela’s early career was in social work before doing an MBA and beginning a career in HR.

In addition to receiving her bachelor’s degree from the [University of Manitoba](/org/university-of-manitoba),   Angela also completed her MBA at the University of Western Ontario. Angela is an avid   hockey fan (Winnipeg Jets) and loves travel, reading and outdoor sports. She lives   in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Zhi Zhou is the VP & Chief Risk Officer at [eBay](/org/ebay). He is responsible for payment fraud, Buyer & Seller risk policies, and decision science. Zhi Zhou

Sharon McBride serves as Sr Director, Government Relations at [eBay](/org/ebay). She has been a political and issue advocacy professional for over 30 years. In her early career, she worked on Presidential, senatorial and gubernatorial political campaigns - managing a statewide campaign in her home state of Texas. Subsequently, Sharon worked on Capitol Hill for former Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) and former Congresswoman Anne Northup (R-KY). She was then recruited to work in the legislative practice group of Hogan & Hartson, (now Hogan & Lovells) where she managed a financial services coalition and assisted clients in the automotive and technology sectors. One of her clients there was [eBay](/org/ebay) Inc. In 2003 she joined the [eBay](/org/ebay) Washington D.C. office as one of the founding members of the Government Relations team.

Ed Tang is a Senior Director in Risk Management at [eBay](/org/ebay). Ed joined [eBay](/org/ebay) in 2019 from Uber, where he served as the Head of Enterprise & Partner Risk Management. Oliver Klinck is VP & Chief Commercial Officer, Germany, at [eBay](/org/ebay). He is responsible for the entire B2C business on the German [eBay](/org/ebay) marketplace. His responsibilities include relationships with commercial sellers, dealers and brands on [eBay](/org/ebay).de as well as the management of the various product categories and inventory. Before moving to [eBay](/org/ebay), Oliver Klinck worked in various senior positions in online trading. Most recently, he was the Chief Sales Officer Direct and Chief Merchandising Officer at Office Depot Europe. Previously, he worked as Vice President Fashion & Sports at Otto. As the Head of Legal for the [eBay](/org/ebay) Classifieds Group, David acts as the Lead Lawyer to the global executive team. David manages a global team of lawyers based in Europe, North America and APAC. David is based at [eBay](/org/ebay)’s HQ in Silicon Valley.

Prior to his role as eCG Head of Legal, David worked at Baker & McKenzie, Amazon.co.uk and Discovery Networks in London. In addition, he acted as the General Counsel and Head of Government Affairs for QVC UK for nearly half a decade.

David is an alumnus of the [University of Florida](/org/university-of-florida) (both undergrad and College of Law), where he participated in an exchange program with the University of Leiden. He is a member of the FL, NY and CA Bar Associations and is an English Solicitor. He also holds an LLM from the [University of London](/org/university-of-london) in Communications and Technology Law, and will one day finish his LLM from [Santa Clara University](/org/santa-clara-university) in IP (eCommerce) law.

David Lancelot

As the Managing Director of mobile.international GmbH and eBay Kleinanzeigen, Malte is responsible for reinforcing and continuously strengthening as well as strategically developing the business.

Malte has been working in the online sector for more than ten years and has excellent knowledge of the automotive business. From 2000 to 2005, Malte worked as head of Product Management and Business Development at AutoScout24. Following that, he founded the car information and evaluation platform autoplenum.de in cooperation with the publishing house G.V. Holtzbrinck in 2006. Since 2009, he has been working for the German market leader mobile.de.

After finishing an apprenticeship as wholesale and export merchant at Ferrostaal AG in Essen, he studied industrial economics at the University of Erlangen\Nürnberg from 1995 until 2000. Following University, Malte and some fellow students founded their first internet start-up which they sold at the end of 2000.

Malte is married and has three children. He spends his leisure time in the mountains hiking, skiing and mountain biking. Malte also has a keen interest in Berlin’s varied cultural scene including theaters, opera and museums.

Prior to his role as GM, Northern/Western Europe, Zac was the GM for the #1 classifieds website and the 8th largest website in Canada, Kijiji.ca. Zac has led Kijiji.ca to breathtaking growth over the last 5 years making it one of the largest Classifieds businesses at [eBay](/org/ebay).

Before managing Kijiji Canada, Zac led [eBay](/org/ebay)’s classifieds business in Spain for more than 2 years, where he executed the first integration of [eBay](/org/ebay)’s traditional marketplace business with [eBay](/org/ebay)’s classified business, providing users a one-stop ecommerce solution. Before leading the classifieds business in Spain, Zac was a key member of the classifieds strategy and Marketplaces strategy teams for [eBay](/org/ebay) focusing on all areas of traditional strategy as well as operations improvement.

Prior to [eBay](/org/ebay), Zac was a senior consultant at the strategy consulting firm of Mars & Company where he managed teams tasked with solving strategic, operational and management problems.

Zac graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

Molly joined [eBay](/org/ebay) in 2007 as Employment Counsel and added ethics to her practice in 2011. In her tenure at [eBay](/org/ebay) she has built compliance functions from the ground up and led other compliance programs through growth and maturity.

In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Molly is the executive sponsor of the [eBay](/org/ebay) legal department Pro Bono Committee. She served for two years as Secretary to the [eBay](/org/ebay) Foundation.  Molly is committed to gender equality and racial and background diversity and is actively leading initiatives that support these movements.

He worked in close partnership with the CEO and leadership team to focus on customer excellence through digital innovation and service, culminating in the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) in the industry. Most recently, he helped the airline navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before that, Steve spent nearly 20 years at [British Airways](/org/british-airways), where he held various senior leadership roles in finance, operations, customer service and strategy, and eventually served as Senior Vice President of the transatlantic joint business between British, American, Iberia and [Finnair](/org/finnair) airlines.

Annemarie's career started in telecom at KPN. Here she was responsible for SIMYO in Belgium. In 2009 Annemarie made the switch to the online classifieds world. In the last years she focused on further improving the success of professional sellers and advertisers in Belgium and the Netherlands. Annemarie has a degree in Brand Management at the [University of Groningen](/org/university-of-groningen).

Annemarie Buitelaar

Cathy Foster is the Vice President, Government Relations & Public Policy at [eBay](/org/ebay). In this role she leads the Global Government Relations function and lead [eBay](/org/ebay)’s legislative, policy, antitrust and government affairs work. She will also be responsible for maintaining important relationships with government officials and other stakeholders around the world. 

Cathy has more than 20 years of public policy, regulatory and communications experience. She joins [eBay](/org/ebay) from Apple Inc., where most recently she was the head of Corporate Government Affairs.  During her long tenure at Apple, she was responsible for building the Global Government Affairs function under founder Steve Jobs. During her career, Cathy served as an Associate Director of the Office of Political Affairs in the White House and worked on George H.W. Bush’s presidential campaign.

Prior to [eBay](/org/ebay), Sam advised on over $10 billion of tech M&A deal processes at BofA Merrill Lynch and previously, he rose through the ranks to become the youngest industry analyst at Forrester Research advising Chief Information Officers through tech research and consulting. He began his career leading market research for entrepreneurs at a business incubator in Northeast Indiana.

Sam is a member of the [Benetech](/org/benetech-inc) Board of Directors and serves on the Development Committee. He is also a member of the Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum Advisory Council and is a member of the [National Association of Corporate Directors](/org/national-association-of-corporate-directors) (NACD) and credentialed as an NACD Governance Fellow. He has been named to Black Enterprise’s 2018 “List of the Most Influential Blacks in Technology“ and The Network Journal’s 2018 “40 Under Forty” class and is an active supporter of multiple philanthropic causes.
