Marcus Ennis

Marcus Ennis is an experienced professional in the field of scientific database curation and management. Currently serving as a chemical database consultant at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology since January 2013, Marcus focuses on curating entries related to epitopes and chemical entities within the allergy and immunology sectors for the European Bioinformatics Institute's ChEBI database. Since August 2003, Marcus has also contributed to the European Bioinformatics Institute as a scientific database curator, participating in the development of the ChEBI database and ontology. Prior to this, from 1977 to 2003, Marcus held the position of Editorial Production Manager at the Royal Society of Chemistry, overseeing the publication of multiple journals and books, and previously served as Managing Editor for the Journal of Chemical Research. Marcus holds a degree from the University of Dundee.
