Silvie Korena Fexova

Silvie Korena Fexova has worked as a Functional Genomics Project Lead and Senior Scientific Curator at European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI since July 2018. Prior to that, Silvie was a Scientific Curator at FlyBase from June 2016 to July 2018. Silvie also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge from November 2015 to June 2016. Silvie's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge, a Master's Degree in Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from the same university. In their roles, Silvie carries out scientific experiments, research project management, and mentors junior colleagues.
