James Boulton has over 30 years of work experience in the advertising and media industry. James started their career as an Advertising Sales Executive at Courier Group Newspapers in 1984. In 1986, they became a Media Planner at Gold Greenlees Trott Advertising, and in 1990, they joined Grey Advertising as a Senior Media Planner and Group Head.
In 1994, James joined Media Audits as an International Client Services Director, and in the same year, they also started working at Accenture Media Management as a Senior Manager, a role they held until 2006. From 2006 to 2013, they continued working at Accenture, this time as a Senior Manager.
In 2015, James joined Ebiquity plc as an International Media Business Director, a position they currently hold.
James Boulton obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Philosophy from The Open University in 2010, after completing a degree in Humanities with History of Art from the same institution between 2003 and 2008. Prior to that, they pursued Business Administration and Management at the University of Portsmouth from 1981 to 1984. James also holds a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from The Open University, although the start and end years of this degree were not provided.
